Had to bring DNI + empadronamiento, an existing member introduced me, then there was a short junta a few days later and I was voted in. Place was small, friendly people, orientation maybe 20 minutes. They gave me a small monthly allocation to take **home** (no consumption on site). Tried a hybrid they called “Mediterranean” — softer than expected, citrusy but a bit earthy. Ese nombre lo usan mucho para batches más suaves. I joined a local asociación a few months back and the vibe was similar — small, quiet, administration-heavy. Two things I noticed: 1) every batch seems to change a bit month-to-month, so don't be surprised if next month your 'Mediterranean' smells different, and 2) bring a little cash for the membership fee on the day, they often prefer it. One thing I wish someone told me: keep notes about the strain batches you get (date + small tasting notes). After a few months you'll spot patterns and can ask the committee when a preferred strain might come back.
