De Rookies coffee shop ligt op die korte strook bij het Leidseplein waar toeristen, studenten en theaterpubliek elkaar kruisen. Overdag voelt het gemakkelijk en lokaal; 's nachts wordt het levendig, met mensen die uit nabijgelegen bars en shows naar buiten komen.
