Barcelona clubs sound livelier but also more picky about introductions; L'Hospitalet seems smaller, maybe easier to get into. I joined in Barcelona and it felt structured — they check empadronamiento closely and the orientation is more formal. Smaller towns around the city are friendlier but might have less selection if you're interested in variety.
