Had to bring DNI and the empadronamiento, filled the paper, then they said the junta would vote in about two weeks. Orientation day was polite, small group, they explained the rules and that you don’t just walk in to get weed — it's an allocation system. I didn’t post the address (obviously) but the people were friendly, low-key. If you're nervous about the junta: breathe, be punctual and don’t overshare. La junta tardó 10 días y al principio me sorprendió lo formal que fue todo (documentos, voto). I went to a BCN asociación last year (different barrio) and the orientation was exactly like you say — small, everyone a bit shy.
