FYI: L' Hospitalet junta was faster than I expected

Quick heads-up for anyone trying to join an asociación in L' Hospitalet: you do need a current member to introduce you (that's how it worked for me). I brought my DNI and the empadronamiento printed, they checked both, and the junta happened eight days later — short meeting, a quick vote, and I got an email confirmation. There's an orientation after approval, so don't expect to walk in with goodies the same day. Not 100% guaranteed for everyone but my process was smooth.

En mi experiencia también fue rápido cuando el miembro que te presenta está activo. Llevar empadronamiento actualizado ayuda mucho. Buena suerte a los que están en lista de espera.

Correcte, també cal explicar que hi ha clubs on la junta es fa cada setmana i altres que la fan cada 2-3 setmanes. Si el teu presentador està disponible i va a la junta, les coses van molt més ràpid.

nice to know. one question: did they ask for any proof of income or anything weird? just empadronamiento and DNI for me is ideal.

They only asked for DNI and empadronamiento when I joined a while back. No income checks. But some clubs ask for contact of the introducer and a short form about expected consumption for internal records.

Also worth adding: don't post the club address publicly. A friend got a bit of heat online for sharing location. Keep it discrete and follow their orientation rules.

Thanks for the timeline — super useful. Small tip: bring a printed empadronamiento (not just on your phone), they prefer paper in some places.
