Barcelona or Sabadell for joining an asociación? thinking aloud

Thinking out loud — I'm considering joining an asociación but torn between Barcelona and Sabadell. Barcelona clubs (I know a couple of groups around the city) feel larger, maybe more options but longer waiting lists? Sabadell looks smaller, friendlier and maybe quicker to process membership, but less variety. I work near both places so commute isn't a big issue. Not asking for a definitive answer, just curious about people's impressions: is it worth waiting longer in Barcelona for variety, or better to join Sabadell and be active sooner?

If you value being active quickly, a smaller town like Sabadell often gets you involved faster. Barcelona has the advantage of selection and events, but yeah, queues can be longer. Depends if you want immediacy or choice.

I joined a smaller association once and loved the close community — more chances to help out and actually meet other members. Barcelona might be livelier but can feel anonymous. If you plan to participate in meetings, Sabadell sounds nicer.

Depends if you care about trying many strains or about being part of the community. If variety is the top priority, wait for Barcelona; if you want to be active and meet people quickly, Sabadell is fine.

Personal note: being active soon can be more rewarding — you learn the rules, help organise things, and it's nicer than just waiting for a larger stock. If you can handle a smaller selection, Sabadell is a solid choice. Barcelona is great but sometimes more bureaucracy.
