CSC Nettetal Cannabis Social Club in Nettetal

If you know Duisburg, this is in the part where port cranes mark the skyline and the streets feel more practical than polished. CSC Nettetal is an Anbauvereinigung that keeps to itself; the exterior is plain and unassuming. The neighbourhood is a mix of older apartment blocks, a couple of small shops and light industry — you hear trucks and the occasional train more than music. I’ve walked past on weekday mornings and it fits into the routine of people getting on with things. There isn’t much fanfare; it’s treated like a local errand rather than a destination. On Saturdays the area quiets down and you notice how ordinary most of the buildings are, which is kind of the point. If you’re used to Duisburg’s working-city character — river, rails and industry rubbing shoulders with everyday life — this place feels like another practical part of that scene.
