Weedfreunde Cannabis Social Club

Weedfreunde is an Anbauvereinigung in Chemnitz with a decidedly practical vibe. It sits in one of those older parts of town where brick workshop fronts and tram tracks are the everyday backdrop. On my visits people just come in, pick up their allocation, and leave — consumption on-site isn't allowed. The surrounding streets have that post-industrial feel: small garages, a bakery that opens early, and the occasional thrift shop. The folks who run it are straightforward and focus on the growing side rather than any kind of show. Compared with the quieter villa streets of Kaßberg or the green stretch by the Schloßteich, this place feels utilitarian and part of the city's working rhythm. Expect quick, no-nonsense visits — it fits into Chemnitz like any other practical errand.
