De Stoker Cannabis Social Club in Groningen

De Stoker is a coffee shop that feels like an everyday local spot, the kind cyclists stop at between errands. Inside it's low-key — a mix of regulars with newspapers and people dropping in for a quick chat. The street outside usually carries the steady rhythm of bike traffic and the murmur of neighbours doing their rounds. You won't find flashy decor; most of the seating is functional and people come for easy conversations rather than showy interiors. Evenings here tend to be mellow, with soft music and small groups rather than loud crowds. The neighbourhood has that lived-in Groningen feel — older brick facades, small shops, and a steady flow of students and long-time locals. It's the sort of place you remember for the familiar faces behind the counter and the simple, everyday vibe. If you want somewhere that blends into the daily rhythm instead of standing out as a destination, De Stoker is it.
