Coffeeshop The Kink Cannabis Social Club in Ede

The Kink is the sort of coffee shop people from around here drift into after work or between classes. It sits on a street where commuters and shoppers pass by, so there’s a steady but never frantic flow through the door. Inside, the mood is low-key — regulars trade small talk while newcomers tend to keep to themselves. You’ll spot a mix of ages: students who commute to nearby campuses, older locals, and the occasional visitor exploring Ede. Weekends slow down into a more lingering pace; conversations get louder and people stay longer than they planned. The surrounding bit of town is practical and walkable, with small shops and cafés rather than flashy storefronts. Talk here often swings to cycling routes and forest hikes, a reminder that the Veluwe is never far from conversation. Service moves briskly and without fuss, which suits the place — it’s for a relaxed stop rather than anything showy. If you want a simple, familiar spot before heading off to the woods or the station, this is where people from the neighbourhood go.
