The association
Stadskoffiehuis De Hobbit is a low-key coffee shop in Weert that I always head to when I'm wandering through town. Inside it feels relaxed and a little snug; people take their time over coffee and the chatter is easy. You'll spot students with laptops, older locals catching up, and the odd cyclist drying off after a ride through the Peel. The staff recognise regulars and the place has that come-as-you-are vibe. Outside, Weert's market-town energy is never far away — market days, canal-side walks and plenty of trees. Not fancy, just a proper coffee shop to sit and watch the town go by.
