Coffeeshop OLD Amsterdam Cannabis Social Club in Amsterdam

Coffee shop OLD Amsterdam has an old-school, lived-in feel that makes it easy to stay longer than you planned. It's tucked into the narrow streets not far from the Amstel, where tourists and locals collide at odd hours. The room is small and efficient; you get the sense people come here for the selection and the normalcy rather than a show. Mornings bring quiet regulars and the smell of coffee, while evenings swell with a noisier, mixed crowd. You'll find a mix of students, office workers and out-of-towners—everyone seems to know the rhythm. The surrounding blocks are full of late-night cafés and modest restaurants, so it's easy to make a night of it. I've been there in the late afternoon and the staff move with the practiced speed of somewhere that's been doing this for a while. If you want a straightforward, reliably local stop rather than something flashy, this is the sort of place people point you to.
