Tweede Kamer Coffeeshop Cannabis Social Club in Amsterdam

Small, understated coffee shop that feels like somewhere locals duck into between errands. It sits down a narrow, cobbled lane off the busier shopping stretch, so you get a mix of tourists passing through and regulars who know the rhythm. Inside is plain and practical: a counter, a few stools, and people chatting in low voices or scrolling on their phones. The air is what you'd expect — a mix of coffee and paperbacks and a faint herbal tang — not fancy, just honest. Evenings bring a livelier crowd; daytime is when it feels almost calm enough to read. The street outside has that old Amsterdam compactness: small shops, a couple of cafes, and enough foot traffic to make people-watching entertaining. Staff move at a steady pace and won’t fuss; you order, pay, and find a spot if there’s one free. If you want less bustle, pop in early; if you like a bit of local color, come later and listen to the conversations.
