Coffeeshop De Kikker Cannabis Social Club in Hilversum

coffee shop De Kikker is a short walk from Hilversum centre, sitting on a street where mid-century houses and everyday shops rub shoulders. It's the sort of low-key spot locals pop into for a calm, no-nonsense stop rather than anything flashy. Weekdays feel mellow — a steady trickle of people from nearby offices and others passing through town. Come the weekend there's a bit more of a flow, but it never turns into a big scene. Inside it keeps things simple: functional seating, easy conversation and an unhurried pace. Regulars tend to stay put rather than dash off, and staff treat visits like familiar routines. You can feel Hilversum’s media-town and leafy-street character in the background, which keeps the whole place relaxed. If you need somewhere to sit for a while while exploring the centre, De Kikker does the job.
