Coffeeshop Jemig the Pemig Cannabis Social Club in Almelo

You’ll find the coffee shop on the road that heads out toward Bornerbroek, among the everyday shops and takeaways locals use. Inside it’s low-key and a bit compact; regulars spill over from the counter to the small seating area. The staff are matter-of-fact — not loud, just quick and familiar, which suits the no-fuss crowd that drops in after work or a bike ride. Weekends bring a steadier flow from the nearby neighbourhoods, while weekdays are calmer and easier to grab a quiet sit. Buses roll by and there are always cyclists passing, so the street has that steady local traffic feel. They keep things simple and practical rather than fancy. If you want somewhere ordinary where people actually live nearby, this is the kind of coffee shop you’ll end up back at. It’s a short ride from Almelo centre and easy to swing by after errands, which is why I keep going.
