Coffeeshop Doctor Green Cannabis Social Club in The Hague, Den Haag

Doctor Green is a small coffee shop on one of The Hague's older shopping streets. The block has that slow, slightly worn city-centre feel — small boutiques, cafés and people who know each other. On a sunny afternoon the front catches the light and there’s usually a steady hum of conversation. Locals drop in between meetings or after a shift; you’ll see the same faces most weeks. Music stays low, so you can actually talk without shouting. They keep things unpretentious and a bit lived-in rather than spotless and staged. Evenings are mellow, with a steady drift of smoke and chatting people lingering for a while. It’s the sort of spot someone from the neighbourhood points you to when you want something easy and straightforward. If you like watching the city’s slow rhythm — trams, bikes, shop windows — this is a practical place to pause.
