Koffiesjop De Bovenstad Cannabis Social Club in Gorinchem

On a short, cobbled street where the river breeze still reaches the old city walls, Koffiesjop De Bovenstad has a low-key, lived-in feel. You pass canal-side shops and bikes slowing at the corner before the street tightens and people duck inside for a break. This coffee shop keeps to itself; it's mostly regulars and curious visitors who wander off the main square. I've dropped in more than once on my way home and found it quiet enough for a proper chat or just to watch the afternoon light shift across the brick. The decor is simple — a few worn tables, posters on the wall, nothing flashy, just what you need. Outside you can hear distant church bells and the steady clack of bicycles against the pavement. It's the sort of place locals point you to when they want to show the real side of Gorinchem's old town, not the tourist strip. If you like streets that still feel a bit like somebody's living room, you'll understand why people come back.
