De Huyskamer Cannabis Social Club in Rotterdam

De Huyskamer feels like someone's living room — mellow lighting, mismatched chairs, people lingering over quiet conversation. It's on a side street that softens the city's edges; a few steps away the main roads hum with trams and shops. I've dropped in on both sleepy weekday mornings and mellow evenings, and it never tries too hard. The crowd is an easy mix of neighbouring residents, folks grabbing something after groceries, and the odd student with a book. Service is unfussy — quick when you're in a rush, chatty if you want to linger. There's a lived-in charm here; nothing flashy, just a place that wears well. Good for a quick pause between errands or for watching street life from a corner seat. Don't expect scenes; come if you want a straightforward coffee shop that feels part of the block.
