I know Green Leaf Freiburg e.V.; it's an Anbauvereinigung in a part of town where students and long-time locals cross paths. The street has that quiet, bike-heavy feel Freiburg is known for — sandstone buildings, tram bells now and then, and greenery not far off. When I've been there it's always a quick in-and-out; members pick up their allocation and leave, no hanging around inside. The people who come look like a cross-section of the city: uni backpacks one minute, gardening gloves the next. On market mornings the area livens up with stalls and espresso queues, but weekdays tend to be low-key. Staff keep things practical — paperwork and pickups, nothing flashy. For me it's just a neighbourhood stop before heading off to the Schlossberg or out toward the forest.
