Bastardo CSC Cannabis Social Club in Berlin

I pass Bastardo CSC often; it's one of those no‑fuss spots you notice more by the plain door than any sign. It's an Anbauvereinigung (cannabis cultivation club) that keeps things deliberately low-key — consumption is off-site, members pick up their allocation and leave. The street around it is a patchwork of old workshops, a couple of bakeries, and late-night kebab joints, the sort of imperfectly tidy block Berlin does well. Tags and paste-up posters cover nearby walls, and you can usually hear bike bells and the distant rumble of buses. Inside feels efficient rather than showy; staff handle paperwork and handoffs with quick, businesslike rhythm. You see a mix of older members who know the drill and newer faces just getting sorted. It blends into the neighbourhood rather than standing out, part of the block's evening routine.
