Coffeeshop Nogal Wiedes Cannabis Social Club in Amsterdam

Coffeeshop Nogal Wiedes is the kind of local spot you duck into after a lazy cycle through Amsterdam Oost. Inside it's simple and unpretentious, the kind of place where regulars and newcomers sit at the same scuffed tables. The street around here still feels like a neighbourhood high street — small shops, bakeries and the odd secondhand store — not the tourist-packed spots closer to the canals. I've popped in on slow afternoons; you can read, chat or just watch people go by without being bothered. Evenings pull a mixed crowd: students, neighbourhood folks and a few curious visitors escaping the main drag. Staff move at a steady, no-fuss pace and things feel informal rather than polished. If you’re exploring the east side or heading toward the nearby parks and museums, it’s an easy, low-key stop. For anyone after a straightforward coffee shop vibe — nothing flashy, just a reliable local hangout — this fits the bill.
