Coffeeshop alien Cannabis Social Club in Steenwijk

Coffeeshop alien is a modest coffee shop on a quieter stretch near the water, a short walk from Steenwijk’s compact centre. The street feels residential—bikes propped up, people popping in between chores. Inside it’s low-key, the sort of place where regulars settle in without fuss. I’ve stopped by after a cycle out toward the nearby peatlands; it’s handy for a breather before heading back. Weekends bring a mix of town shoppers and country riders; weekdays are noticeably calmer. Evenings stay mellow, so conversations tend to keep to the tables rather than spill onto the pavement. No frills, mostly local faces, and exactly the kind of unpretentious stop you find in this part of town.
