Coffeeshop The Buddha Cannabis Social Club in Delft

I've popped into Coffeeshop The Buddha a few times; it's on one of those narrow lanes that feel calmer than the market square. Inside it's relaxed and low-key, more of a stop for locals and students than a showy place. The decor doesn't shout — plain tables, soft lighting, the kind of spot where conversation stays at table level. Step outside and you're a short walk from Delft's canals and the compact old centre, with brick houses and bike traffic all around. Evenings here are mellow; people come for a quick smoke or to sit and read, not for loud groups. Staff are direct and practical, no small talk unless you want it. It's an easy, no-fuss stop if you're wandering the city or heading back from the station. Doesn't try to impress — just a straightforward coffee shop with familiar faces.
