Coffeeshop Space Ball Cannabis Social Club in The Hague, Den Haag

Space Ball sits on a narrow side street just off the busy shopping drag, so you get the centre noise without being right in it. Locals duck in between errands and tourists wander through on their way to the nearby shops. The place has a no-nonsense, slightly worn charm rather than anything slick. Midweek mornings feel calm and practical; later on it fills with people who want something low-key. The surrounding streets are a mix of everyday shops, cafés and the kind of cafés that spill onto the pavement when the weather holds. Inside you’ll find casual chatter, people reading or waiting for a quick takeaway. If you like a simple, down-to-earth coffee shop where regular faces are as common as newcomers, this is the sort of spot you’ll visit more than once.
