Coffeeshop Maashaven Cannabis Social Club in Rotterdam

You won't find pretension here — it's a low-key coffee shop where locals drop in before or after a walk by the Maashaven docks. The street outside has that practical, post-war feel common on this side of town, with bikes and buses moving through and the harbour just a short stroll away. Inside it's plain and honest: a few small tables, a counter, and people who come for a quick chat as much as for what they buy. Mornings are mellow, with someone flipping a paper; evenings bring a quiet, after-work crowd. On warm days the river air drifts in and you can hear distant ship horns. Staff remember regulars, and there's none of the fuss you get closer to the centre. If you want a straightforward place to sit for half an hour or catch up with a friend, this does the job.
