Coffeeshop Witte de With Cannabis Social Club in Rotterdam

Coffeeshop Witte de With is one I duck into when I'm wandering that gallery-and-bar stretch by the museums. During the day it feels relaxed — people drift in between exhibitions and errands — and in the evening the place picks up without ever getting frantic. The street outside is full of small galleries, bars and offbeat restaurants, so there’s always a parade of different faces. Inside it’s uncomplicated and unpretentious; somewhere to sit and not be rushed. You’ll spot students, tourists and a handful of regulars who clearly come more often than they should admit. It fits right into the late-night bar crawl or the slow afternoon museum hop. I go there when I want a familiar stop that feels part of the neighbourhood rather than an attraction.
