Coffeeshop Mikmak Cannabis Social Club in Schiedam

Coffee shop Mikmak sits on a quiet strip by one of Schiedam’s canals, the sort of place where regulars drift in between errands. Inside it feels low-key and unpretentious — no flashy décor, just a simple counter and a few small tables. The tall windmills and jenever warehouses are only a short walk away, so it’s a handy stop after poking around the old parts of town. Mornings are gentle and slow; afternoons pick up with locals catching up over a smoke and a chat. Staff are straightforward and will point you in the right direction if you’re unsure what to try. You’ll see tourists rubbing shoulders with people who’ve lived here for years, which keeps the vibe relaxed. Prices and pace are more down-to-earth than what you’d find in Rotterdam proper. If you want a plain, friendly spot to sit and watch canal life go by, Mikmak does that job.
