The Bulldog Energy Coffeeshop Cannabis Social Club in Amsterdam

The Bulldog Energy coffee shop sits along one of the old canals in De Wallen, where the streets get narrow and the neon takes over. Expect noise and a steady stream of tourists — this area never really goes quiet. It’s the sort of place where people spill out onto the sidewalk and easy conversations happen over quick orders. If you like people-watching, you get canals and bikes as constant background props. Service moves quickly; staff keep things efficient rather than cozy. Being a Bulldog outpost, the name is familiar and that draws a certain crowd. Don’t come here for a hushed, local-only vibe — it’s busier and more tourist-facing than that. Still, there’s a particular energy that matches the surrounding mix of bars, window displays, and canal boats. I live nearby and sometimes pop in after an evening walk just to watch the parade of languages and faces.
