Walk a little way off the main drag toward the quieter residential stretch and you find La Piña, the kind of spot locals pass by without making a fuss. It feels like a living room more than a club — low-key, unshowy, where conversations slow down and people take their time. In winter it's calm; in summer it fills up with the town's seasonal mix of residents and visitors. The road outside heads inland toward Girona, and the area is mostly small shops, flats, and the odd family-run café. If you want somewhere that leans local rather than touristy, this is a good fit. It's easy to pop into from the centre or the promenade and you'll probably run into someone you know.
