THE DOLPHINS COFFEESHOP Cannabis Social Club in Amsterdam

This little coffee shop sits on a lively central street where theatres and late-night bars keep the pavement busy. Inside it's compact and a bit old-school, with a counter and a few benches rather than a lounge vibe. I’ve dropped in a handful of times and found the staff quick and straightforward — they tell you what’s good without the small talk. The crowd changes through the day: quiet groups and locals in the afternoon, louder chatter after shows. You’ll see a mix of tourists who wandered in and regulars who clearly live around the corner. The street out front is narrow and lined with small restaurants and neon signs, so you get the bustle even before you step inside. It’s practical, not flashy; a place for a plain, reliable visit rather than a scene. If you want something uncomplicated in this part of town, this is the kind of coffee shop people come back to.
